Propane in itself is not a direct greenhouse gas and is one of the world’s most widely used alternative fuels. In fact, electric power adds 80% more CO2 into our atmosphere than does propane. Propane equipment can be safe,  clean, and efficient fuel.  However, all propane equipment should have the following to be used in the concrete polishing industry.

• CARB and EPA certification - the engines  are certified annually and independently by CARB and EPA to meet their strict guidelines for low CO emissions.
• ESDS  – machines are manufactured to  incorporate a 3-way catalytic muffler to lower CO, HC and NOx emissions and an ESDS (emissions shut down system) that monitors the engine for irregularities and automatically shuts the machine down if emissions rise.
• Ask Manufacture if they meet GS-24 and LEED Guidelines? - Architects, owners and contractors can feel secure knowing that the equipment they use have met manufacturing standards for an all around sustainable product.

The new GreenGloss burnisher reduces buffing time by 33% allowing 45,000 sq ft of production in an hour. Instead of having several burninshers on the job site; use just one. It has rugged construction and can take the abuse at the jobsite compared to Janitorial models. While its polishing/burnishing path is 39" it will fit through a 36" door thanks to its unique head design.
